The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that 842,000 people, mostly children, die every year as a result of inadequate water, sanitation and hygiene. On World Water Day (March 22), Culligan Cares, the non-profit arm of Culligan International, has announced a partnership with World Concern, a global relief and development organization with programs aimed at saving lives with clean water. Through Culligan Care’s three-year pledge to fund the organization’s clean water initiatives in Laos, clean water, improved sanitation and greater family health education will be brought to the Soukhouma cluster of five villages.
